about us

Our History

Our purpose is to bring you closer to nature

Tshukudu Game Lodge was established in 1940. The dream of bringing people closer to nature began with a transition period of
African safaris and accommodations, followed by the establishment of this Big 5 game reserve, one of the first in its area. Despite its
humble beginnings, this Big 5 Game Lodge bordering the Greater Kruger National Park has become one of the most visited and
treasured gems in South Africa’s Lowveld, thanks to the passion of the Tshukudu family and team.

Tshukudu Game Lodge, Reserve and affiliates are celebrating over 40 years of providing guests with unforgettable bush escapes,
African safari experiences, and a lifetime of memories.
