about us

Our History

Our purpose is to bring you closer to nature

Tshukudu Game Lodge, established in 1940, started with a dream of bringing people closer to nature. Over time, it transitioned into offering African safaris and accommodations, eventually becoming one of the first Big 5 game reserves in its area. Despite its humble beginnings, this lodge bordering the Greater Kruger National Park has evolved into one of the most visited and treasured gems in South Africa’s Lowveld. The passion of the Tshukudu family and team has driven this success.

Now celebrating over 40 years, Tshukudu Game Lodge, Reserve, and affiliates continue to provide guests with unforgettable bush escapes, African safari experiences, and a lifetime of memories.
